New West Pickleball Club was invited by the City of New Westminster to participate in the Canada Day celebration at the Waterfront Pier Park at the Quay on July 1.

The club gained a great deal of community exposure from the event. Debby Morgan, Hazel Padula, Kelly Cannon and Lindy Kirkwood worked the booth from 12:30-6:00 pm.

We received many names of people who expressed enthusiasm to attend an introductory pickleball class.

We plan to do this when the Hume Park courts are ready.
